Your definatly NOT too heavy!!
Its a great boat and the second hand market is really part of the appeal.  They go from £1000 up to around £2500 and assuming you dont wreck the boat, you're pretty much garaunteed to get your money back when you come to sell it.
Its really quick upwind and reaching but you may find any downwind legs somewhat tedious.
IMHO ive never been happier with a boat!!

from what i have heard there is very little that limits someone from sailing a 600, apart from skill that is!

I would say it is definatly a boat worth buying as i am hopefully going to be getting one myself. Just don't go steeling the best bargain boat before i get there!!!!!

There is definatly a lot of boat for your money in a 600, so go for it! if it doesn't work out you can always sell it on as i reckon the 2nd hand market is picking up.

i know of one for sale at £750 jut im not sure how competitive it will be, hasnt been used in years, angel mast, "fine sailing knick"...

Umm, one of the 4000 sailors on the circuit said he pisses all over 800's on tightish reaches in a decent breeze. Very fast in all directions usually. If u want a kite y not get a musto or a 700?
