I'm not sure if you're all aware of this or not, but there seems to be a lot of creative talent on this forum so thought you may be interested. The Royal Institution of Naval Architects (RINA) and the British Marine Federation (BMF) run an annual Concept Boat design competition, with big prizes! You don't need to be a pro, there is a £1000 prize just for the best idea, £2500 for the best developed design and an extra £2000 for the overall winner. The theme of the competion is always lame, and this year is no exception - "Tow a Boat", but don't let that put you off. See www.conceptboat.com for details.

i dont quite understand it!!  do u have to design a boat the can be towed like a boat with wheels or on a trailer?

I know, its a silly title.  Just has to be a boat that can be towed, so fits on a trailer less than 24ft lonfg and 8.5 feet wide. 

A boat with wheels though, there's a thought...

yer good idea. i will start designing.   well the only cool boat i can think of which i could tow behind a scooter is a 6ft skiff.

I think you can design using any medium eg, pen and paper, photoshop, specialist CAD. You will have to buy / download software as there currently isn't a CAD program in windows!
