Silver Medallists Bundy & Forbes, win, while French & Germans fight for Bronze.

The last Race of the series, Race 11 for the Tornadoes is being sailed today.

On the outside course E, southeast of South Head, the conditions before the start are stronger than expected, from the south east at about 14 knots.

The Australians Bundock & Forbes were partying till midnight and then some…celebrating their Silver medal win however they are out on the race course now and Bundy has just told our team on the track that "We are planning to give them some stick"

The young French crew Pierre Pennec and Yann Guichard need the Germans to have a bad day to snatch the bronze and the presence on the Australians on the course will no doubt help their cause

With the breeze greater than expected, the crews are changing gear.

The New Zealanders Dickson and Sowry have changed their headsail. The US duo Lovell and Ogletree their main and the Germans Gaebler and Schwall their headsail as have the French Pennec.

The Germans are expected to sail conservatively covering the French duo, because the only way they can lose the Bronze is if the French Captain Hook Pennec can break away and finish six places higher in this last race.

Only a tail end finish from the Germans would put the Kiwis into contention.
