Etranger (Jutson 50) sweeps clean 2001 Puerto Vallarta race

by Scott Jutson on 8 Mar 2001 The prestigious 2001 Puerto Vallarta Race, run by the Del Ray Yacht Club,
saw an amazing clean sweep by the 50 foot Jutson designed Etranger (ex-
True Blue). Etranger took line honours by over twelve hours from second
placed yacht Pegasus, an Andrews 70, followed by the Santa Cruz 70 Gran
Illusion. Etranger also won overall on handicap in the 25 boat fleet.
Owner of Etranger, Howard Gordon, has commissioned a larger Jutson design
for the next Around Alone Race starting in 2002.
