Club Marine Sail Boat Show 2001

by Club Marine Press Release on 26 Feb 2001
The Club Marine Sail Boat Show 2001 is on again at Sandringham Yacht Club in Melbourne over the weekend Saturday - Sunday April 7th and 8th 2001 from 10am-6pm.

The Club Marine Sail Boat Show is totally dedicated to all those people who have a love of the sea and wind in their sails. It provides an opportunity for the many members of
the community who would like to consider taking up sailing either as a sport for recreation, or to view a wide range of boats from 'off the beach' dinghies, trailable boats on
the hardstand through to large yachts moored in the marina in an ideal yacht club setting.

Present throughout the two days will be experienced sailors and class association representatives to advise on the various classes of boats including the opportunity to
inspect them and go for a short sail.

In the 'Sail Boat Show Alley' there will be a comprehensive display of boat hardware, equipment and accessories for you to browse over and discuss the latest aspects.
Safety on the water will be specifically featured including air-sea rescue operation demonstrations.

Jesse Martin and Vin Lauwers, with their boats Lionheart and Vision Quest in which they sailed around the world, will be present to talk about their record breaking epic
voyage.

Win A Whitsunday Holiday
By attending you can win a 5 night bareboat (self-sail) Charter Holiday for up to 6 people in either the Whitsundays or Sydney Harbour or Pittwater.

The Club Marine Sail Boat Show is a major industry event supported by the Boating Industry Association along with supporting sponsorship from Parks Victoria, Victorian
Yachting Council, Bayside City Council and Sunsail.

Proceeds from the show will be donated to the Victorian Coast Guard, who voluntarily provides safety resources on Port Phillip.

It will be a fun weekend for everyone with entertainment, BBQ meals and refreshments.
