For three days now Tony Bullimore and his TEAM LEGATO crew have been setting
the fastest pace in THE RACE. During the last 24 hours up to 03:00 today,
they covered 429 miles - 205 more than Club Med, 5 miles more than
Innovation Explorer and more importantly, 129 miles more than their closest
rivals on Warta Polpharma.

The gap between these two is now down to 559 miles.

The Bullimore Boys were still trucking along at 19 knots early today - 10
more than the Poles who plan to join Team Adventure in Wellington for a few
hours to replace a satellite antenna.

Cook Strait is now only 800 miles away and the TEAM LEGATO crew expect to
pass through there some time over the weekend if these winds hold. By then,
the gap should have closed considerably.

Just watch this space....
