Spinlock's popular lifejacket, the Deckvest LITE, has been given a stunning new clean and contemporary look for 2017.

Spinlock have also launched a new model of the ever-popular lifejacket the Deckvest LITE+, which now comes with a harness.

Since its launch in 2012 the award-winning Deckvest LITE quickly established itself in the market with its compact, lightweight and colourful design and fast became the lifejacket of choice across a diverse range of watersports enthusiasts and commercial users. The latest Deckvest collection features all the best design elements from the previous generation of the Deckvest LITE, coupled with some refinements that have been developed thanks to Spinlock's active testing of their products on the water.

The new Deckvest LITE is shorter and slightly more angular and sits a little higher on the chest. It has been designed this way to create a perfect fit every time, with a design that naturally falls into the shape of the upper body and shoulders. It is easily adjusted and with the weight of the product further reduced, the Deckvest LITE will be less tiring to wear for long periods of time. Available in a range of striking colours with tonal colour blocking panels for a refreshed look, the Deckvest LITE uses a durable honeycomb ripstop cover fabric with a colour matched webbing belt.

Other features include 170N buoyancy, a single crotch strap with recessed clip that reduces the risk of snagging, a clipping area for a VHF radio or personal locator beacon, plus attachment points for a chest pack and for a kill cord or VHF leash.

The Deckvest LITE+ features all of the new Deckvest LITE improvements and is now appealing to those who wish to have the option of a harness, thanks to the lightweight webbing loop harness attachment.

Deckware Project Manager Myles Uren comments: 'The Deckvest LITE is used by a large group of watersports enthusiasts and has quickly become the premium choice of lifejacket for those who like some adventure in their sport. The 2017 Deckvest LITE is going to appeal to those who love their gear and love having the right kit. The Deckvest LITE+ will appeal to those who are looking to perhaps take on some new challenges and will need a harness attachment.'

In New Zealand, Spinlock lifejackets are available at Harken/Fosters and Safety at Sea - both outlets in Beaumont Street.
