Sydney to Hobart & Pittwater to Coff Preparations.

Saturday racing is showing consistent results for race contenders.

In Saturday's CYCA short ocean pointscore races, IMS Division 1 went to the Sydney 40, Davnet, helmed by Jamie McPhail, ahead of Ausmaid & Ninety Seven. IRC Division 1 to Julian Farren-Price's new Cookson 12, About Time, with Ausmaid being scored in second ahead of Nigel Holmans Zurich. In the Farr 40 division first place went to Emotional
Hooligan skippered by Marcus Blackmore, some 2 minutes & 20 seconds ahead of Envy with The Weapon 3rd.. Those three winning boats are all entrants in the Strathfield Pittwater to Coffs Harbour race starting on January 2nd 2001.

While the 1998 winner of the Telstra Sydney to Hobart, AFR Midnight Rambler, skippered by Ed Psaltis, continued her excellent lead-up to the 2000 Hobart race, winning both the IMS Division 2 and IRC Divisions 2.
