The Henri Lloyd Octogrip Mono is the first of a new generation of performance sailing footwear that features a state-of-the-art one piece construction with the removal of all but one non-critical seam. This has been brought about by injection moulding multiple layers onto a substrate, a technique further enhanced by the removal of oxygen to ensure moisture cannot be absorbed.

As with previous Octogrip trainers, lightness, quick drying and super low absorbency is the centre of the design proposition. The new mono construction eliminated the need for stitching and so improves durability on aggressive deck surfaces when racing.

The design of unique Octogrip outsole tread pattern offers maximum grip on deck via “blade technology” and a permanent tread pattern which miraculously cuts through water and delivers a 360 degree grip.

 A further design feature is the Ghillie speed lacing system, a criss-cross lacing system using loops of material as part of the shoe instead of punched holes which offers adjustable comfort and improved fit.
