Holld 74 build update

by Holld Yachts 10 Apr 10:02 BST

The HOLLD 74 is an all-carbon sailing catamaran crafted to explore. Conceived for long-range family cruising, the design enables fast, composed passages with a minimal crew. Performance is balanced with stability, redundancy is integrated without excess, and every system is considered to support life at sea; quietly, reliably and without distraction.

Constructed using a one-shot carbon fibre and epoxy resin infusion process, with hand-lamination limited to less than one percent, the HOLLD 74 will achieve incredible rigidity and strength, with impressive weight efficiencies.

From structure to systems, the HOLLD 74 is built with the precision and discipline of the Dutch superyacht tradition. Engineering decisions are governed by safety, longevity, and reliability, ensuring a yacht that performs with consistency and integrity over time.

Each HOLLD 74 interior is shaped as a bespoke environment, through a considered dialogue between design, function, and personal expression. Materials, layouts, and finishes are curated with restraint, delivering superyacht-level refinement, while preserving balance, weight discipline, and sailing integrity. Helping to maintain the strict weight discipline, all interior furniture will also be constructed entirely from carbon fibre.

The proposed interior layouts prioritise family life and cruising in comfort. Hull #1 is configured with a built-in sofa to aft on the main deck, seats within the sugar scoops, and corner seating either side of full-height glass doors that lead through to an open plan galley, lounge and dining space that optimise the 10.2m beam. On the port side, steps lead down to the master cabin - positioned forward - and there's a guest twin or crew cabin to aft. On the starboard side to aft, is a VIP double with adjacent private lounge, and a third double cabin is positioned forward. Developed in collaboration with Linda Chevallerau, everything will be executed to bespoke, superyacht interior standards and refined to suit individual client tastes.
