Draycote Water Sailing Club publishes Spring 2026 edition of 'Unshackled' magazine

Draycote Water Sailing Club's annual magazine 'Unshackled' is out now! The 20-page publication coincides with Spring and includes a looks back at all the highlights from 2025 and forward to a busy new season ahead.

With a variety of reports from the club's committee and community, Unshackled 2026 features:

  • Fleet Reports including Fireball, Flying Fifteen, Solo, Dart 15 & Menagerie
  • Youth & junior preview including Friday night racing and Saturday fun club
  • Epic adventures of the Y&J Team at the 24 Hour Race!
  • Training for all including Improvers, RS Aero & ILCA fleet coaching
  • Draycote Academy performance sailors leading the way
  • Women on Water, Windsurfers, Wingers and WASZPers
  • Club heroes and volunteers who help the club thrive

Club President Jeremy Atkins said: "Unshackled is a celebration of all that we enjoy at the club and its publication is timed each year for Spring before our 2026 season gets into full swing. We hope to re-inspire those who've continued sailing through winter and encourage those who've taken a break to get back on the water.

"We'll also be sharing Unshackled at our club fun day on Saturday 16 May so those returning to the sport and would-be members have an at-a-glance guide to all the fantastic opportunities we offer at our club and on this fantastic piece of water we call home!"
