At the end of another leg characterized by light wind, the offshore fleet of the Marina Militare Nastro Rosa Tour reached Formia during yesterday's morning, sending the first results of the 2022 edition to the archive: in fact, we remind you that the first leg, from Genoa to La Maddalena, had been canceled due to the total lack of wind.

Acone Associati (Federico Waksman-Manfredo Finck) was the first to cross the finish line, with a margin of just 20 minutes on the second, IREN (Elena Manera- Carlo Manera), and on Mexedia (Claudia Rossi-Giovanni Di Monaco), which on board engages the reigning World Champion and the reigning European Double Mixed Offshore champion.

Afterwards, in Formia we had the arrivals of IES Algeco (Alejandro Cantero - Ignacio Cantero) and Marina Militare (Giovanna Valsecchi-Andrea Pendibene), already on the podium of the Double Mixed Offshore World Championship last year.

Simultaneously with the departure of the Beneteau Figaro 3 fleet, the first event of the Waszp, single foil that represents one of the novelties of the 2022 edition of the Marina Militare Nastro Rosa Tour, took place in La Maddalena, an event organized by Difesa Servizi S.p.A. in collaboration with SSI Events and Marina Militare.

Only two races completed, however sufficient to compile the ranking, won by the representative of the Team ENIT, Mauro Finazzi, with a minimum margin over Sofia Caputo (Marina Militare) and Francesco De Felice (IREN).

The awards ceremony for the second offshore fraction and the Waszp regattas of La Maddalena are scheduled for tomorrow afternoon at 6 pm at the Regate Village located on the Porto Caposele quay where, yesterday, an aperitif offered by The Ocean Race Genova The Grand Finale, partner of the Navy Nastro Rosa Tour and owner of a team engaged among its buoys, which will be followed by a jazz concert by the Rhythm Jam Quartet.
