After a short break Harken are back supporting the class and getting involved with the resurgent interest in racing this great dinghy. Over 250 ILCA's took part in the 2021 Nationals at WPNSA and this year promises to be just as successful with 170 already entered.

Hayling Island Sailing Club, one of the greatest dinghy racing venues in the world, will host the event from 17th July to the 22nd July and Harken are very pleased to be playing their part in making this a great event.

Harken say: "Harken UK is extremely pleased to be sponsoring the ILCA Nationals this year at Hayling Island Sailing Club. The ILCA class has always been important to Harken and it is great to be able to give something back to the sailors at what we are sure will be another hugely successful event. We look forward to establishing a close working relationship with UKLA in the future."

The ILCA/Laser equipment supplied by Harken is of the highest quality and continues to provide ILCA/Laser sailors with exactly what is needed to keep their boats fast and reliable. Harken are therefore an obvious and perfect addition to our team of terrific sponsors - UKLA look forward to working with Harken in the future.

2022 Nationals

In addition to the fabulous racing in Hayling Bay, each day will have evening socials dramatically subsidised by each sponsor. Harken will sponsor the welcome evening for all sailors and guests with a Posh Pie Night. Monday is Southeast Sailboats Mexican Night, Tuesday Vaikobi BBQ Night, Wednesday SailingFast Curry Night & AGM, Thursday Ovington Gala Dinner Night and Friday Prize-giving.

Overall our sponsors contribute several thousands pounds in prizes and hard cash which provides subsidies for all this off-the-water entertainment. Without them an event of this caliber just couldn't happen. Thanks you sponsors.

This is an event for all those who love racing this iconic boat - Young bloods, old masters and newbies - everyone is welcome... you'll need to join UKLA and then you can enter. ilca.uk
