Much to our excitement, the boating and marine industry is receiving an unprecedented amount of attention. We seem to be experiencing the rise of a new wave but could this recent surge of interest come to be nothing but a short-term blip?

We recently discussed this with the CEO and founder of Dromeas Yachts, Efe Kuyumcu, who considers the current lack of accessibility in the industry is largely to blame for the fact the interest isnt even greater.

TEAM HIGHLIGHTS

Welcome to Oliver Wells who is joining the team as an Executive Recruitment Lead.

Oliver brings nearly 20 years of senior recruitment experience to Marine Resources Recruitment working with some premier recruitment names across a wide range of business sectors from Investment banking to Central Government. He has a strong track record of recruiting senior hires into businesses to affect change both within the UK and abroad.

Alongside this, he is also a professional sailor competing on some of the top racing circuits both nationally and internationally. Winning his first national title at the age of 17 he has continued successfully since competing in multiple European and World Championships and finished second at the Melges European 2021 championships alongside other strong results.

Having been heavily invested in the marine industry all his life through his passion for sailing/racing it made complete sense to combine the two elements of recruitment and the marine industry.

Olivers role at Marine Resources will be to develop and build the Senior Commercial Market both client and candidate side across the Marine industry. Combining discretion with opportunity!
