Beneteau Asia Pacific news - A sweeping victory at the awards season

We are pleased to share with you that Beneteau, Lagoon Catamarans and Excess Catamarans have made great achievements at the 2021 China Yachts Awards (OCYA) ceremony in online format on January 23rd, 2022.

Jointly organised by China Cruise & Yacht Industry Association (CCYIA) and Oceanway, a comprehensive boating information and service provider in China, the event aims to give recognition for those who excel and contribute greatly to the industry within the year, including but not limited to both domestic and international brands, dealers, marina, services, equipment providers, as well as industry association, through comprehensive review by a panel of industry insiders and voting by general public. Here is the list of awards that our brands gained in the ceremony.

What's more exciting, Beneteau's new Grand Trawler 62 is awarded the prestigious European Power Boat of the Year 2022 in the Displacement Category, which is considered the most heavyweight motorboat prize in the industry. "The Grand Trawler 62 is full of ideas for future cruising motor yachts and well placed to become a trendsetter in its class.In addition, it convinces with excellent marks for driving characteristics, range and workmanship." remarked by the jury.

Each year, Groupe Beneteau launches an average of 25 new models to the market and innovation has always been the key to the group's success globally. According to Gianguido Girotti, the Deputy CEO of Groupe Beneteau said during an interview at Paris Boat Show 2021, "Innovation helps us to meet what the customers want and fulfil their desires. With the arrival of the first Grand Trawler 62 and Lagoon 55 in Asia Pacific, as well as the first Excess 11 in China, there will be a stronger presence for Beneteau, Lagoon and Excess in the Asia-Pacific region, at the same time defining the new sailing lifestyle for people of diverse needs.
