The date is set for the first EFPT in Theologos on the island of Rhodes: from the 8th - 12th of September we'll see some of the best freestylers in the world make their way to Greece. The Surf & Kite Theologos center will not only host the pro men division, but will also run pro women and just recently confirmed the juniors division. This means, that this event in Greece will be one of the few complete EFPT events ever, calling on all the freestylers in Europe and beyond to come compete at this fantastic spot.

European Champion 2019 Yentel Caers (JP/Neilpryde) and European Champion 2017 Jacopo Testa (Point-7/AV Boards) both used the spot for training in the past seasons and confirmed their attendance for the event in September. Good conditions paired with an amazing local atmosphere at the recently renovated windsurfing center will provide the perfect playground for this contest.

We are also happy to confirm another EFPT rookies camp, which will take place Saturday, Sunday and Monday in the same week before the event starts. There will be one day in between that may be used for some personal training or as a rest day before the competition kicks off. Head coach Julian Wiemar will be supported by top Italian freestyler Jacopo Testa and there'll be another big prize for one of the attendees: AV-Boards will be the head sponsor of this camp and offered a brand new freestyle board for the most outstanding participant. 'The Turn ' is a freestyle board that is stable, easy to ride but at the same time fast and exciting, features that make it suitable for all kind of riders and skill levels.

Statement of EFPT CEO Adam Sims:

"I'm really excited the EFPT will be present in Greece this year, more so at the new destination for us in Theologos. With such top names having been there for training, it's already proving itself as quite the location for high level freestyle. Combining the pro men with the pro women and the juniors (separate fleets of course), will make it one of our biggest events of the season. The title race will be in full swing by then, let the story unfold. See you on the water."

The registration will be opened two months prior and we'll pass on more information as soon as we have it.
