The Canadian Sailing Hall of Fame and the Marine Museum of the Great Lakes at Kingston are pleased to announce the 2020 Inductees into the Canadian Sailing Hall of Fame:
- David Miller - 1972 Olympic Bronze Medal in the Soling Class - RVYC
- Paul Cote - 1972 Olympic Bronze Medal in the Soling Class - RVYC
- John Ekels - 1972 Olympic Bronze Medal in the Soling Class - RVYC
- Glen Dexter - 1977 and 1980 Soling Class World Champions - BBYC
- Andreas Josenhans - 1977 and 1980 Soling Class World Champions - BBYC
- Sandy MacMillan - 1977 and 1980 Soling Class World Champions - BBYC
- Terry McLaughlin - 1984 Olympic Silver Medal Flying Dutchman Class - RCYC
- Evert Bastet - 1984 Olympic Silver Medal Flying Dutchman Class - RStLYC
- Terry Neilson - 1984 Olympic Bronze Medal Finn Class - NYC
- Hans Fogh - 1984 Olympic Bronze Medal Soling Class - RCYC

The Canadian Sailing Hall of Fame is a collaboration between The Canadian Sailing Hall of Fame, the Marine Museum of the Great Lakes at Kingston, and Sail Canada. Inductees to the Hall of Fame must be Canadian citizens, and can be inducted in any of the three categories of Sailor, Technical, or Contributor.
In these initial years, Inductees will be chosen by the Canadian Sailing Hall of Fame Management Committee, with representation from across the country. The selection process is based on criteria established in the CSHOF By-Laws. In future it is intended that the nomination process will be open to the sailing public. As per the By-Laws, any Canadian sailor who wins an Olympic or Paralympic Medal, or a World Championship in an Olympic or Paralympic class is considered an automatic Inductee. Thirteen of our fourteen 2020 Inductees meet that criterion.

If Covid-19 Pandemic conditions allow, the Induction Ceremony will take place at Kingston Yacht Club, 1 Maitland Street, Kingston, ON, at 2:00 - 5:00 PM Saturday, October 17th, 2020.
