The fleet limbered up to the start line with clear skies above and a solid WiFi signal. Once again consistency was key with Freddy Wood (Hayling Island Sailing Club) heading up the leaderboard with two bullets and a second. Way to go.

First female is Maddie Wylie (Yorkshire Dales Sailing Club - the one with the hot tub) with a four point lead over Sonia Evans (Grafham Water). Sonia, our HARKEN Virtual Series Ladies Champion, will be desperate to close that gap tomorrow.

First Junior is Charlie Merryweather (Oxford Sailing Club) at fourth overall.

Troy Mitchell (Paignton Sailing Club) is demonstrating to youth how it is done at eighth overall. We suspect he's been practicing ever since winning the Seniors title in the HARKEN Virtual Series.

The Brits did not have it all their own way with SUI 1273 Brent Verhoest at twelfth overall.

With nine races scheduled and two discards, there is still all to play for. Good luck to all of our competitors for Day Two.
