This year's Open Frostbite series at Yorkshire Dales was as usual a close fought battle. Sometimes it was with the elements as the last race in the series was called off because of a quick snow storm. Despite that, the club put on a magnificent spread for a Christmas lunch. A record 85 attended the lunch... more than the number of boats in the series!
Mike Saul and Ollie Kent in a RS500 won with the same points as Richard and son Bradley combo in their RS400. Closely followed by Andrew Holdsworth in his Laser. A total of 61 boats contested this year's Frostbite, all looking forward to the big event on the 27th of the Brass Monkey.
The waiting list has now closed with just over a hundred boats and 34 classes. The reservoir 1000 feet up in the Yorkshire Dales is now full to brim. The club is looking forward to hosting the Selden Sailjuice Winter Series Brass Monkey event... see you there!
