The Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race - Hobart Village, proudly supported by TasPorts and located on Constitution Dock, has something for everyone!

In operation from 12pm on Friday 27 December until 5pm on New Year's Day, the Hobart Village is the perfect destination for young and old. From big-screen entertainment, Rolex Sydney Hobart coverage, interviews and videos, to live music, daily DJs, official race merchandise, face-painting, circus workshops and 7HOFM's Tassie's Got Talent competition, there's fun for all.

Over the past 74 years, the Rolex Sydney Hobart has become an icon of Australia's summer sport. No regular annual yachting event in the world attracts such huge media coverage - and this year, in 2019, the race celebrates its 75th anniversary! Catch the historic Hobart finish, as sailors from across Australia and around the world take their first steps on Tasmanian soil at Constitution Dock, just around the corner from Taste, and join the celebrations with crews.

The Tattersall Cup champions (overall winners) and the J H Illingworth Challenge Cup winners (line honours champions) will be crowned by Premier Will Hodgman in the Hobart Village, with Gordon Bray AM host of the celebrations in addition to conducting daily interviews with crews.

If you fancy a drink or a snack, look no further! The Hobart Village has you covered, with a range of local food and beverage options available morning, noon and night. Celebrate in style, perhaps with a wine in hand, at the Devil's Corner Bar, snaffle some seafood from Bruny Island, sip on some Grinders Coffee or enjoy a number of other delightful options. The choice is yours.

The focus in 2019, without doubt, will be on the sailors though - with a fleet of more than 160 boats entered in this year's race, the 2019 Rolex Sydney Hobart will be one to remember. Join the fun and witness history at the Rolex Sydney Hobart - Hobart Village!
