2019 Nacra 15 European Super Series announced

The 2019 Nacra 15 European Super Series incorporating five major, National Nacra 15 events in key venues across Europe. The competition is open to all Nacra 15 youth sailors. Fierce, friendly competition on the water paired with a great après-sail social scene.

Your International Nacra 15 Class Association in partnership with each event Organisation Authority giving you top competition, Filmed Racing, Trackers and Max Fun. The Nacra 15 European Super Series, adding season long excitement and action to your Nacra 15 sailing calendar.

Join us and experience the European Super Series for yourself. Testing your sailing skills, learning new tricks and having fun with friends from all over the world... many sailors from many nations all driven to see who is the fastest!

The five 2019 Nacra 15 European Super Series events are:

Entry Regulations:

Registration to each event will be possible per event via the event websites. Only current, fully paid up members of the International Nacra 15 Class Association will count for the overall ranking of the Nacra 15 European Super Series. IN15CA Membership Registration is possible via our website.

The Nacra 15 Class Rules will apply during all events of the Nacra 15 Super Series.

Measurement, full adherence to class rules shall be followed, spot checks may take place.

Boats may be required to carry cameras, sound equipment and positioning equipment as specified and provided by the Organizing Authority and/or International Nacra 15 Class Association.

By participating in the Nacra15 Super Series, competitors automatically grant to the Organizing Authority and International Nacra 15 Class Association and their sponsors, the right in perpetuity to make, use and show, from time to time at their discretion, any motion pictures and live, taped or filmed television and other reproductions of the athlete during and after the period of the competition without compensation.

Overall Ranking and Prizes:

The low point system will be used for the overall ranking. A Team's best three regattas count for the overall ranking. Everyone is ranked, even if they have only raced 1 or 2 regattas. Points received for the non-attended events will be the highest points + 1 from the largest event. If there is a tie, appendix A applies. If there is still a tie, refer to the total number of teams in events attended. The team who raced against the most teams wins.

The overall winners will be crowned: 2019 Nacra 15 European Super Series Champions. Overall prizes will be awarded to:

  • 1,2,3 Overall Open
  • 1,2,3 Overall < 19 years
  • 1,2,3 Overall < 16 years
It is our aim to make the prize presentation at the final event, RBSC, Belgium in September...
