Members of the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) can now take advantage of exclusive discounts on cutting edge off-grid power products as it welcomes Scottish startup, Powercases, to its Member Reward Partner programme.

Members will be able to enjoy up to 20% discount, depending upon their membership type, across Powercases range of products, from marine jumpstarters to portable power stations and two in one battery cases for iPhone.

"We're delighted to come on board as a recognised RYA Member Reward Partner", commented Peter Waggott, Managing Director of Powercases.

"Having power on demand when you're at sea is crucial. Our products allow sailors to stay connected wherever they are and our Marine Jump Starter battery allows you to check your running lights with the mast down the first product to offer that feature."

Dundee-based Powercases (Scotland) Ltd is the European arm of the Canadian Powercases brand which since 2012 has created state-of-the-art Lithium-Ion rechargeable power packs and cases for devices such as phones and laptops as well as jump-starters for cars, motorcycles and boats.

RYA members can enjoy discounts on the following products:

  • Universal Charger (Red or Black) - Ultra-slim, compact charger that provides you with enough power to keep all your mobile devices in charge when you're on the move and need it most.
  • 2in1 Battery case for iPhone 6/7/8/X - Combines a basic case with a wireless charging removable battery, so when the battery has done its work, or you want to travel light, you can simply remove it.
  • Marine Jump Starter - Ideal emergency power on-board your water craft and ensures the sudden failure of your lead acid battery won't leave you adrift in stormy seas. The Marine Jump Starter 700 battery will also charge laptops, tablets and mobile phones when their charge is low.
  • Automotive Jump Starter - With a 20,000mAh battery and a peak current of 900A, it can successfully handle the toughest challenges. Powerful enough to start your motorcycle, car, van or boat all in a very portable small size.
  • Sportsman Jump Starter A compact (pocket size) but powerful Jump Starter battery. It will start your motorcycle, ATV and smaller cars. It will also charge tablets and mobile phones when their charge if low.
"Powercases is great addition to the RYA Member Reward Partner programme", commented Conor Swift, RYA Membership Development Manager. "Powercases is offering some great products that I'm confident our members will find of great benefit."
