Help get sailing and windsurfing reinstated to the PE activity list

by RYA 15 Dec 2018 08:00 GMT

The Department for Education's public consultation is now inviting proposals to add activities to the published GCSE, AS and A Level physical education (PE) list.

Sailing and windsurfing, along with several other sports, were removed by the DfE from the list of activities eligible for practical assessment at GCSE, AS-level and A-level in 2014.

The RYA is encouraging its members and supporters, as well as parents and teachers, to submit their own responses to the consultation, you can do that at www.rya.org.uk/go/dfe-consultation
