Colin Smith in RS Elite 007 Shaken Not Stirred narrowly leads at the end of the third race of Hayling Island Sailing Club's Whitsun Regatta on May 26th with two firsts and a third, from Russell Peters sailing Elite number 20 Riff Raff with three seconds. In third place is Paul Fisk in his new boat, Elite number 110 with a fourth, a first and a fifth.

The event got off to a windy start on May 26th with winds gusting to over 25 knots in Hayling Bay. Nine Elites enjoyed exhilarating and challenging conditions on the racecourse with one boat losing its spinnaker pole.

The forecast for the second day, when two races are planned, is for lighter winds so the fleet will now be able to relax and enjoy the Saturday evening social event.
