Antigua Sailing Week starts this Saturday 28th April with the stand alone Peters & May Round Antigua Race. Racing for the 51st edition of Antigua Sailing Week starts Sunday 29th April and concludes on Friday 4th May. If you want to follow Antigua Sailing Week there are plenty of options.

Facebook Live:

Every morning at 08:30 local time (GMT-4) Antigua Sailing Week will be LIVE! on Facebook bringing you atmosphere from the regatta. Join in the fun. Post questions and comments during the broadcast and don't forget to share with your friends: www.facebook.com/SailingWeek

Bird's Eye View:

For Antigua Sailing Week all race courses will be off the south coast of Antigua. Each day of racing some boats will sail from Windward Beach to the east and others will sail from Rendezvous Bay to the West. There are excellent spectating opportunities from vantage points along the south coast: Shirley Heights, the Blockhouse, Fort Charlotte, Windward Beach, Rendezvous Beach, Carlisle Bay, Morris Bay, and from various trails along the south coast.

On Sunday, April 29, Shirley Heights Lookout will host its famous Antigua Sailing Week breakfast. An excellent local breakfast available from 8 am until 11 am and once the racing begins you will be in one of the best locations to view the excitement at the start lines.

With all races taking place off English and Falmouth Harbours, a great option for spectators is to take a hiking trail. Some of the best views are from Carpenters Rock, reached via Galleon Beach, Fort Charlotte (along the same hike) and Fort Berkley and the Middle Ground Trail reached via Nelson's Dockyard or Pigeon Point Beach.

Chase the Race:

What better way to get first-hand experience of Antigua Sailing Week's (ASW) races than to actually be out on the water alongside the racing yachts! All-inclusive Chase The Race tours will take place daily during the racing and set off and return from Falmouth Harbour. To book go to: www.sailingweek.com/chase-the-race
