The Etchells Australasian Championship 2018 at the Mooloolaba Yacht Club is less than 50 days away, and with an amazing venue that always delivers great racing, as well as an Australian Worlds on the calendar later this year, there is no doubt that this event is one not to be missed.

John Bertrand, two-time Etchells World Champion has already verbally confirmed his attendance, along with a number of other notables including current three-time Etchells National Champions in a row and two-time Australasian winners Magpie.

I will be at the event to deliver up to the minute results, photography and video, and daily reports to keep you all in the midst of the action.

The event sponsors are continuing to roll in, the first of the rank and main sponsor for the event this year will be "The Dock" – at the Mooloolaba Wharf. Thank you in advance for their support to help with this key event on the Etchells calendar, and we look forward to announcing more sponsors in the coming weeks.

As you no doubt know, unless you have not been lucky enough to visit the beautiful Mooloolaba area, accommodation can book up quickly, especially over key times like long weekends.

To help with your stay the Newport Apartments are offering one night free when you book three nights as a minimum, so stay three and pay for two, stay four and pay for three and so on.

Entries are now open, so get your entries in, or check out who has entered below – and I look forward to seeing you in Mooloolaba over the June long weekend!

Enter here and you can view the entrants here.
