Lymington Town Sailing Club is delighted to announce Wildwind Holidays is continuing as the title sponsor for the 2018 Wednesday evening dinghy racing for its third consecutive year.

Wildwind Holidays will be sponsoring the Wednesday Early Points Series from 11th April through to 13th June, followed by the Wednesday Summer Series from 27th June through to 29th August. The racing takes place in the Western Solent, starting on the LTSC River Line. There are four handicap classes, with separate results for the Merlin Rockets and RS Aeros.

"We regularly get a turnout of nearing 60 boats; 44 boats were on the start line for the first race in the series," comments Nigel Walbank, Rear Commodore Sailing at LTSC. "It's great to have Wildwind continuing their support of the Club, the start is not before 1820, and we get a number of spectators as well as competitors with food and refreshments available throughout the evening. We look forward to the continuation of Wildwind Wednesday's at LTSC."

Wildwind Holidays has gained a reputation as being the best sailing holiday company in the world, with their flagship centre in Vasiliki, on the Greek Island of Lefkas, as well as a centre in Mont Choisy, on the Indian Ocean island of Mauritius, offering sailing holidays all year long.

"My father used to race in Lymington back in the 70's and competed in the Admirals Cup, and I used to race Cadets occasionally from the LTSC," comments Simon Morgan Founder of Wildwind Holidays. "It is therefore a particular pleasure to be able to give back something not only to the sport that I love so much, but to Lymington Town Sailing Club as well. May I wish all competitors fair winds and skies throughout the summer."
