Bacardi Moth World Championship at the Royal Bermuda Yacht Club - Day 5

by Magnus Smith 31 Mar 2018 10:19 BST 23 March - 1 April 2018

The fifth day of the Moth Worlds has seen racing cancelled again. There is not enough wind to run reasonable racing, though the Good Friday kite-flying traditions of Bermuda are still taking place on the beach.

We have now lost the first day to strong winds, and two days to light winds. Whilst this must be incredibly frustrating for competitors who came here to race, being forced to spend the day chilling on a while sandy beach is not a terrible alternative to be forced to take.
