Fireball UK South West Training to be held at Chew Valley Lake on 17-18 March

The Fireball UK South West Region are holding a Class specific training event with top coach Adam Bowers at Chew Valley Lake Sailing Club over the weekend of 17/18 March 2018.

A completed registration form and £30 deposits received by 30th Jan 2018 Secures your place. Places allocated on a 1st come, 1st served basis Balance of £45 (Total £75/boat) due by 2nd March.

The event will consist of:

  • On the water coaching
  • Video Footage
  • Photography
  • Classroom Coaching
  • Saturday evening seminar included at CVSC The event was released on Facebook last night and places are already being booked up fast. There's only 15 places available so get yours in quick!

Open Seminar

There will be an evening Tactics and Strategy Seminar with Adam Bowers at CVSC on the 17th March and tickets will be released in early February. This event will be open to anyone not just fireball sailors and will be subject to a maximum of 120 tickets.

Seminar Topics to include but not limited to:

  • Video Analogy
  • How we give time away to the eventual winner
  • How we control our race

Some experienced competitors found the challenge a bit too robust Yesterday's Frostbites in Dun Laoghaire Harbour were a test for organisers and competitors alike.
