The Bytes come North to Carsington Sailing Club this Sunday June 19th for an event shared with the Supernova fleet. This will be the last shake down before the sell-out Byte Nationals at Castle Cove on July 9th.
A full squad of five boats will be competing from nearby Combs Sailing Club including the winner of the recent exciting Inland Championships Rick Whitehouse. However for the first time at an open this year multiple winner Louis Saunders will be chasing him hard in his well-known black boat. The girls will be represented as well with two from Combs and Rachel Moore, class secretary travelling up from Weston Sailing Club, so expect some sparks there!
If you own a Byte or know someone who does get over to Carsington on Sunday and race with this dynamic, fast growing fleet!
At the recent High Peak Challenge races the Combs Bytes dominated the event and another competitor sailing a much faster boat was heard to say, "Those Bytes were all over the place, like gnats, I wanted to swat them... but I couldn't catch them!"
Sail the boat that suits your weight, sail a Byte!
