NSSA Inland Championships at Datchet Water Sailing Club - Preview

The 2014 NSSA Inland Championships will be hosted by Datchet Water Sailing Club in West London on the 24th/25th May, and we extend a warm welcome to all sailors who will be under the age of 19 years on 31 August 2014 to come along and enjoy the fun.

Datchet Water SC are offering on site camping along with sailing at the Queen Mother Reservoir site. They will be able to accommodate tents, caravans and campervans with excellent toilts and showers available. The club has its own galley and snacks, meals and drinks will be available throughout the event. There are hotels nearby should you prefer not to camp

The sailing is normally split into four fleets - Handicap (Slow and Fast), Laser, Topper and Rookie, attracting nearly a hundred entries, including some of the best young sailors in the country. The Rookie Fleet is available for those sailors who are in their first year of racing and who have not sailing away from their home club before. Weather permitting, there will be up to six races over the two days.

Online entry can be made via the Datchet Water SC website and the entry fee is £25 for a single hander and £35 for a double hander.
