The nerves have to be hitting hard now on Emirates Team New Zealand. Another win for ORACLE TEAM USA in race 15 has closed the gap to the Kiwis to just 3 points.
Tom Slingsby and Ben Ainslie once again pulled off a near-perfect tactical race in really difficult conditions.
The score line now reads Emirates Team New Zealand 8 – ORACLE TEAM USA 5, but the score in races won now puts the Kiwis just one ahead with the Americans 2-race penalty.
If ORACLE TEAM USA continue their winning streak then this could be the greatest comeback in sporting history, but don’t forget that Emirates Team New Zealand are on match-point. The Americans can’t afford to make a single mistake.
