Revised nominations - Isaf/Sperry world sailor of the year awards

by ISAF on 23 Oct 2000
Following the publication of the nominations for ISAF/Sperry World Sailor of the Year
Awards, the ISAF Secretariat has received considerable feedback on the inclusion of
other Gold Medallists. Whilst a criteria had been followed to select the original
shortlist, we appreciate the response and comment received and have therefore
decided to revise the shortlist to include all Gold Medallists.

If you are eligible to vote and have already voted and wish to re-vote based on the revised
nominee shortlist, please send the revised voting form to the ISAF Secretariat and advise that
the vote is to replace that previously made. If you have already voted and wish your current
vote to remain, no further action by you is required.

The winners of the ISAF/Sperry World Sailor of the Year Awards 2000 will be announced at
the Annual Dinner and Awards Presentation on Tuesday 7 November 2000, at the Sheraton
Grand Hotel, Edinburgh, Scotland. Tickets to attend the Event will be available from the ISAF
registration desk at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre from Saturday 4 November.
