Ten boats started on a grey morning The second race in the eight-race series took place today from the Burnham Sailing Club. The wind was slowly building from the North, leaving the town shore in the lee of the wind, and the last of the ebb flowed for the first part of the race.

National Squib Inland Championship
50th anniversary year sees new format event Off the back of a very successful National Championship with 100 boats held during Lendy Cowes Week, 39 teams made the yearly trip to Rutland Water for the re-formatted Inlands, which had been changed from the usual five races to seven.

On week 2 of the HYS Hamble Winter Series Anyone who doubted that the wonderful summer of 2018 was at an end has had it confirmed during the first two weeks of the HYS Hamble Winter Series. Rain and plenty of wind from the North has had competitors digging out the layers and the waterproofs.

18 Finns ignore the foreboding forecasts of Storm Callum 18 Finns ignored the foreboding forecasts of storm Callum to enjoy a gruelling but hugely satisfying weekend of first class Finn racing at the final BFA Traveller Series of the year. This counted as an RYA National Ranker event too.

Hansa World Championships in Hiroshima day 1
First time the Worlds have been hosted in Asia Under the refreshing autumn sky, the first race started. The sailors were unable to sail out at the scheduled time due to no wind, but around 11 o'clock, wind blow from the south east.
