Is the team new zealand AC boat still using the 'hula' design on its hull.

They seem to have a really quick boat at valencia, could be a rematch of last time out against alinghi!!!

Never heard of it going to the home of the sponsor instead of the home of the Nation that wins ....... Also New-Zealand have a brilliant infrastructure to support the event so why make it anywhere else if they win?

Not anymore, viaduct basin is now some posh flats, all that was left was the Oracle and TNZ base at the very end.

NZ would have to start again.

It will go to New Zealand. facilities in Dubai are not good enough. BTW the lagoon he is talking about is only about 3/4 of a mile long little small for AC boats to race in. It was tight for the promotional RC44. Fine for the Nations Cup which i raced in but that was only 30ft boats. By bet is in NZ

Go Big or Go home or sail a 49er!!!
