At running the risk of doing too many “what boats” (although I have not got to dizzy heights of Jordan) I thought about a Kestrel for my family needs. Bearing in mind that this boat will only be used for cruising. I had thought a Grad was the final decision but since then I have seen a Kestrel for sale – to view this Saturday. The cockpit is obviously a lot larger than a Grad with more stowage for all the cruising trappings. The boat is a mark 1 and I wondered if anyone knows how these last. From what I can make out the build quality in the class has been excellent throughout the years but I wondered if there is anything I should be aware off and test when viewing.

Thanks

Rich
