in germany threre aren´t many chances of buying good sailing clothes. so i´m asking here in this forum if anyone knows a label which produces long lycra trousers, because i´m allergic to neoprean and in skiff sailing you can´t sail in a nice skirt! i hope you can help me!

Hi Fiona,

Why not consider wearing a Dry Suit with a 'woolly bear' or thermals or both, depending on the weather. In very hot weather it would probably be inappropriate, but then you might not be wishing to wear a neoprene suit anyway and would get away with spray top and shorts or tight tracksuit bottoms. If you did wish to buy 'long lycra trousers' then a racing cyclists' shop would be able to help, you can even get them  with 'bib and braces' so they would not work their way down.

thanks for your help! i went to cycling shop and now i´m the proud  owner of some leggins. i already tried to sail in a dry suit, but the big problem with it is, while a tack in the int 14 you get cought on every little item.you really helped me both!
