My rs feva aluminum daggerboard fills with water. Probably good for ballast, but I read that they're supposed to float! Any suggestions for sealing the end? Silicon?
Thanks, Macwylie

I would email RS sailing, take some pics too. The Ali centreboards are newish, you may have a faulty one.

Contact RS before you do anything with it. It may need to be reftrofitted with more foam before sealing up (the maintenance guy at the Feva Worlds in 2011 spent 3 days doing just that, solidly).

Richard & Moppo, thanks for your advice. I'll post back when I've got a solution!

I think if you contact RS they now can supply some closed cell foam moulded to the cavity that is a fairly instant fix for the problem.
