Winner: Madness

The Big One. Much anticipated for this regatta. And it didn't disappoint.

39 sailors competed in 14 fleet races (races 2 - 7 were split fleets, ie raced in two fleets) for their chance at being the US National champion, but there was only room for one person in the middle of that podium!

And with many big names on the starting line, no one could have called it.

Madness and flow were locked in battle throughout, and it looked like flow had got the better of him at the end of race 5, after a second bullet for flow and a disappointing 15th place finish by Madness left both sailors without discards. But Madness upped a gear in the final three races to out-sail the fleet and take all bullets from them.

In all, Madness took the regatta with four bullets and a total score of 10 points, with flow following in 2nd place on 22 points. 3rd - 6th all finished very close, with Iceman taking the 3rd podium spot, just edging out JCOrionRIT (4th) on count back on 28 points. Sailing_Rugger followed them in 5th on 30 points, with US101 just behind on 31 points.
