I think he's currently trying to rewrite the rules so that
he can be the helm of Oracle instead

Hi Mike

Weldone placing this one on the net. Ernesto has with his boathandling downwind in race one, shown that he is not sensitive enough on the helm as he is not getting the boat gliding as well as Bundy or Roman Hagara would do.

With the French Open 60 tris over the years they have proven time and again that the tri was the faster option and it does not take much to realise that the centre hull in canterlevering off the leeward float, whereas the cat does not have this. So they realy on water ballast. Lead mine not lightweight high performance territory.

I think race 2 will be a none event as the Tri wil have the leverage and less drag (seen the mechano on Alinghi) on the reaches. Ernesto seeing the wing for the first time, may have realised the game had moved on and now Alinghi though great is bystander.

Now for some proper AC sailing. Louis Vitton series
