ITA I think you are both right and wrong with what you say. I totally agree that I would pay a bit more for a boat thathas good build quality over poor but the big three have to be the Hobie, Nacra and the new kid the Shockwave. All have got good results and are similar in price and of equal build quality......Also I wouldnt read to much into the Nacra taking 2 years to win. The worlds results are slightly distorted due to the conditions on the final day. So I would sail each of them and see which I would prefer to sail. Once you have chosen the hulls then specify which fittings you want eg Harken or Ronstan. |

You could always do the easy thing and buy a Tornado. No F18 can compare with that, just the quickest and best boat out there and they are going for good prices. I believe Stuart has one for sale..... It has just won the Forts Race by a long way!
