We spent two weeks there in August last year. Most of the sailing was conducted in the bay. The winds there were mostly lightish, but most afternoons there was a reasonable breeze. They do a few trips out of the bay each week into the gulf - one to have a play with a bit more wind and a bit more space - a cruise to the next bay for lunch - and a race "around the rock". Racing in the bay more or less every day. Everything was well organised, and the instruction was very good - also the hotel and the food. Porto Heli itself is rather uninspiring. We had a play with the 4000 and the 800, but I spent most of my time improving my racing in a laser. Very useful. |
