Just got phantom 871 and will be looking at ways of improving it on a budget. How far off size wise is an RS600 mast compared to a standard phantom mast. I am wondering if its possible to use a 600 or an addapted 600. The mast fitted is a holt one which is a bit chunky! |

Id be amased if you couldnt get a 600 mast to fit a phantom, but
whether it will fit your sail or be at all quick is another matter...

The current mast is so chunky it really is overkill!

It may be chunky but if your sail is cut to match it, it will almost
certainly be faster than a super light mast that doesnt fit at all
