Anyone who's speed trialed at Weymouth will tell you that's bloody good going, Kite, Board or Boat, the water at Weymouth is not as smooth as most of the international speed trial courses and a chum of mine and a couple of fellow kiters all broke the harbour record and two of them nudged it over forty which is excellent news to those of us that have experienced it.

25% gain using Lee ferry glide effect
Apologies to people who achieved this remarkable feat, just teasing Griffin.

There's a double tide in Weymouth, it was always a bitch to work out, but speed trials need a bit of height the one thing you worry about as you're hurtling down the course is grounding and going over the handlebars. The course apparently started off quite smooth but got choopy in the last 100metres, which made it super tricky.

They all did welll our young lass broke the female harbour record, and a couple of kites broke Anders Bringdals 2006 record.

Don't know if any boat records fell, but the kites and boards had a good time.
