Hi,
What are people using to cover trolley cradles? Mine is marking the hull. I assume you want something non-absorbent as you don't want wet stuff pressed against the GRP. Some sort of plastic doormat type stuff ... but soft ... what do people recommend?

I bought some artificial grass type stuff - from Welsh Harp Boat Centre, if memory serves... Stuck it on with Thixofix - lots of - the proper stuff, not the water-based rubbish.

Worth spending the extra for real astroturf, some of the cheaper ones collapse and retain both water and grit

Most definitely not the green foam that mine has, recently turned the boat over to find a green beard on the underside. It needed a scraper to remove it, can’t have been that fast. Will be going to garden centre tomorrow
