Can anyone recommend a company that could make a one-off carbon tube for me? I need to replace the lower mast section on my RS600, basically just a straight piece of carbon tube but it needs to be exactly the same internal and external diameter as the old one so didn't want to just get an off the shelf piece of tube.
Any recommendations welcome |

Have you asked Superspars, they list RS600 masts?

We have a bit of a supply issue in the 600's with superspars, to the point where there was talk at the dinghy show of whether to allow an alternative mast. One guy has a new hull but cannot get a mast to go with it!
BYAB just buy in from superspars so would be in the same position as an individual going direct to superspars. |

These guys do a range of circular tubes see if you get close. There is a minimum order and probs max length of 2.5m. Also wont include any local reinforcement. Agree that if you are experiencing supply problems your best bet is cst or c tech down under for complete masts- you would have to match the specs ideally in one design world. Selden generally not responsive to one offs could be for a class tho. |
