Hi Guys
Any advice for stripping a carbon mast prior to re-varnishing it? I have 3 RS600 masts that need to be done. Cheers Dan |

Be gentle. I'd probably just remove all the loose material with wire wool, and maybe the gentlest of rubbing down with 400 grit wet.
Personally speaking I'd paint them, I am very unconvinced by varnish. To my mind if it wasn't letting some damaging UV through it wouldn't be flaking off. |

White or light two pot, any reasonable marine brand.
