I keep breaking riveters!! I have been through two this season - the type commonly available in DIY shops don't seem equipped to handle a 5mm Monel rivet. I need to rivet the spinaker halyard block back onto my mast - bolting it back on (my prefered method) is not going to work in this case. Has anyone got any suggestions as to where I can get a half decent riveter that won't cost a fortune?

Thanks

Pete, where are you based ?  I've just got a really good "Lazy" gun from a tool sale in the City.

London Any good for you; or have you tried ebay ?

Don't go to a DIY store... try a specialist tool supplier - Buck & Hickman if in Bristol, but there must be others around the country.

Screwfix maybe? I use a pneumatic riveter at work which is great, but not sure that's a good option unless you have a compressor or would use it for other things as well!
