Crikey. Much respect. What on earth was the boat they rescued thinking being out? I know the forecast got worse at fairly short notice, but up here that happened in the early hours of the morning whilst everyone sensible was asleep (though wasn't asleep after it hit!)

Just been on the news about a guy out in a sailing dinghy on the south coast who had to be rescued in winds gusting bf11. What's wrong with people?

I took the family for a little cross channel cruise yesterday afternoon. Admittedly it was on Brittany Ferries ship the Mont St Michel.
All I can it was not very pleasant even on such a large ship.
