No it's not you Wing Wang, it's totally pointless, only a no hoper muppet like sea monkey would even think about it. In fact once she narrows it down to the easiest she'll still go along and come third in a fleet of three..

I'm not going to tell you, it's pointless you even doing this, all Nationals are hard to win if the conditions don't suit your sailing style and body weight just as they're easy to win if the conditions suit you, given you've done what it takes to be proficient at sailing the craft at mean fleet boat speed or better on autopilot.
Which clearly you haven't or you wouldn't be posting such an absurd survey..

This is for dinghy & small keelboat classes, who cares about your weird branch of air rowing ... and it is not about which classes are hard for YOU to win, it's about which class you think was the hardest to win for the eventual champion. |

Another option might be to build your own new type of boat to make sure there is no-one to race against...

Well to weigh in my 2p...
There is a certain Kiwi Laser sailor who has jumped in to other single handers and won their nationals at the first attempt. He has also done this with at leat 1 double handed class...
This year he tried to do this in another double handed class and came 3rd I believe. Does that make the class he sailed in this year more difficult to win or does that prove that he just needs a little more time to get used to the boat? The class in question does have a number of top double handed sailors from other classes who regularly participate in their nationals even if they do not do any other events for that class in the same year.....
As with a lot of things online totally pointless in some ways but the analysis of peoples perceptions may be interesting.....

with no results published after you complete it to see if you can log in again and re-vote, this survey is even pointless for the pointlessness of internet surverys.
the hardest classes to win- the one's where the team riders, pimps and ringers show up and sail you off the start line (if you were in contention in the first place that is...) |

A Laser is easier than a Merlin to win the Nationals because you can find a competitive boat much easier. Just one of the many factors involved - too complicated to work out.
